How to budget for UAE expenses
Enter your actual net salary and every household commitment. Include annual rent, school fees, vehicle insurance, visa renewals and travel even when the payment is months away. The planner divides these costs into a monthly reserve so you can prepare before the bill arrives.
For rent paid in four cheques, enter the full annual rent once using the Annual frequency. For example, AED 60,000 per year means reserving AED 5,000 every month, regardless of cheque dates. Do not enter the same rent payment twice.
Plan upcoming payments
For annual or quarterly commitments, enter the next payment date in the expense table. The planner will list upcoming bills for the next 90 days. Your monthly reserve is a planning estimate, not a guarantee that sufficient cash is available for an imminent payment.
What should you do with the balance?
Allocate the remaining amount to an emergency fund, additional debt repayments and long-term goals. If the balance is negative, review discretionary spending and large commitments first. This planner is a budgeting estimate and does not automatically track bank transactions.
